# Privacy and data: permissions and the official policy

> Review App Store disclosures, find the developer privacy policy, and protect customer information when reporting issues.

Before using GoGoGo Discounts, review requested permissions in Shopify's installation screen and the developer's official privacy policy linked from the App Store. This page helps you find those resources.

## Data access disclosed in the listing

Permissions may change between app versions. Check Shopify's actual installation authorization; this table is not a promise about data retention or access periods.

## How configuration relates to data

The app uses product and cart information for scope, and customer tags, eligibility, and purchase history for qualification. It creates or updates discounts in Shopify. Automatic gifts also use the theme embed to add and remove cart gifts.

## Protect information in support reports

Share only the configuration and cart evidence needed for diagnosis. Redact customer names, email addresses, addresses, and payment information. Never send passwords or access tokens.
